Building local community cohesion
Support the development of Microcosms (GL#7)
- Clifford chatted with Brian and said that old issues are being fixed, new issues are posted, some 20 issues needed to be resolved. Seems to be close. Maggie said OSM US is willing to host an instance for testing.
- Adam said before he is willing to “help” with it.
Provide a tool for communities to welcome new mappers (GL#8)

Update OSM website to allow affiliated groups to message OSM users (GL#9)

Develop/design local community website template/tool (GL#13)

Update the OSM website to highlight Local Chapters (GL#14)
- Rob and Adam has been working on this with a rough layout already done, but no concrete text yet. Plan is that LCCWG needs to be sure what the full plan should be before opening it up for community feedback.

Map Complete
- OSMBE is developing a new tool: https://mapcomplete.osm.be

- Joost gave a quick demo of the tool. Map themes are JSON-based. The tool is a progressive web app (HTML5 web app) that doesn’t need any special backend hosting aside from hosting HTML pages (example: GitHub pages).
Improving the Local Chapters affiliation scheme

LCCWG budget

- Remove SotM line item since SotM 2021 is now virtual
- OSMIT has a bit of a budget that can be spent on OSM-related projects.
- Need to decide again on what projects to spend money on. Possible projects:

- Welcoming tool
- Communities OSM website page
