The LWG has not issued its own guidance on the DL-DE/by-2-0 however we agree with the findings of this [https://open.nrw/system/files/media/document/file/opennrw_rechtl_gutachten_datenlizenzen_lowres_web.pdf study] commissioned by the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) that the downstream attribution requirement requires obtaining special permission for use in OpenStreetMap.

This license is compatible, but it should be noted that specific data sources and versions used should be specifically named in changesets as this license specifies this information should be included in attribution, and this type of information could differ changeset to changeset.
