reading that makes me remember when I used to live on the same planet as you. In reality not only is sourced fact based official data not allowed it is also a ban-able offense for including such material. What you call vandalism (I do too) is actually standard editing practice.

im talking about road classification data, the project at its core trusts any random editor to class a road to their liking rather than encourage data from legal official government sources. Using government data gets you a block from editing, google on the other hand is 100% government sourced and trust worthy data.

Posting false or inaccurate information.

User slice0 appears to have deliberately propagated false information about what sources of data are acceptable in OSM ("Using government data gets you a block from editing", "google...is 100% government sourced...", "official data not allowed it is also a ban-able offense for including such material").

Propagating false information about what is and is not acceptable in the OSM database can lead novice mappers to entering bad data, data from prohibited sources, and thus violations of copyright laws, creating legal jeopardy for the OSM project.

The Moderation Team voted unanimously to suspend user slice0 from the community forum for four weeks (28 days).
